My whole world changed in the summer of 2012 – not only did I find out that I had cancer, but was told that it was incurable. It feels as if you’ve been given a death sentence. Or it did initially – but not now. Now that I have taken full control of my own health, and totally changed my lifestyle. I have learned more about cancer, its causes, and treatment options.
It is my mission to change people’s perceptions about living with cancer. To show that you can still be happy, have a spring in your step, a smile on your face and a twinkle in your eye.
I decided to share my experience (by blogging and speaking) in the hope that it will help others facing the same situation – and remind people there are always choices.
